Organic shaped slabs of hammered 14gf sheet connected by 14kgf wire to faceted rondelles of moonstone capped by gold filled heishi, all hand fabricated.measuring 14.5" with a heavily 22kg plated hook eye closure. Absolutely one of a kind.
The hammering of this piece was cathartic, created as a response to the frustration of feeling helpless against the violence in the world, specifically in Ukraine. All of that pent up energy taken out on metal to counteract the bad juju in a golden life-affirming, ultra-feminine choker. A prayer for the world to know peace and harmony. It is interesting from to finally let this piece go out into the world during the same week the property I manage welcomes its first Ukrainian refugee family.
